LoopClose Privacy Policy
LoopClose is a corrective and preventive action (CAPA) tracker: it keeps your problem records, root-cause notes, action items and follow-up on your phone. This page explains what information the app uses and what choices you have. It is short because we collect nothing.
The short version
- No account, no sign-in, no name or email needed.
- No ads, and no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools inside the app.
- Nothing you enter is sent to us or to anyone else by the app.
- We do not collect, receive, sell or share your information.
What the app stores on your phone
Your CAPA records (title, source, severity, area, owner, dates, problem statement, containment notes, root-cause answers, action items, effectiveness check, notes), the company name and default owner you type in Report details, and the photos you take or pick as evidence. It is saved in the private storage of the app on your phone. Android backup is switched off for this app. Uninstalling the app removes its data.
Plus subscription
LoopClose has an optional paid plan called Plus. Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details. The app only asks Google Play whether your subscription is active so it can unlock the Plus features, and it works the same way offline once that is known. You can cancel any time in the Google Play app under Menu, Subscriptions.
What leaves your phone
Only what you choose to send. When you tap Share or Export, the app hands a text or file to the share sheet of your phone, and you pick the app or place it goes to. We never receive it.
If you tap Send feedback or Contact support, the app opens your email app with a draft addressed to us. The draft is filled in with the app version and the Android version to help us fix problems. Nothing is sent unless you press send in your email app. If you do, we receive your email address and what you wrote, and we use it only to answer you.
If you tap Privacy policy or Terms of use, your web browser opens this website. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may keep ordinary server logs of visits.
Permissions the app asks for
Camera: only when you tap Camera to photograph evidence. It is optional, and you can pick from the gallery instead. Photos are saved in the private storage of the app. Billing: lets Google Play handle the optional Plus subscription. Internet and network state: Android adds these because the Google Play Billing and update components need to reach Google Play. The code we wrote does not send your records or photos anywhere. The app does not ask for contacts, location, microphone, storage or phone permissions.
Age
This app is for adults who work in business, industry or facilities. It is not designed for children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
Your choices
- Delete items inside the app, use Delete all my data, or uninstall the app, to remove your data from your phone. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
- Anything you have already shared (for example by email or to a cloud drive) is held by the place you sent it. Delete it there.

Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If the app ever starts to collect or send information, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
