Fit Check Privacy Policy
Fit Check is an AI stylist that scores your outfit for an occasion and roasts it at the level you choose. This page explains what information the app uses, why, and what choices you have. We keep it simple because we collect very little.
The short version
- No account, no sign-in, no name or email needed.
- No ads, and no advertising or analytics tools inside the app.
- We do not sell your information.
What the app sends to our server
To do its job, the app contacts our server (hosted on Cloudflare) and sends:
- The photo you pick (taken with your camera or chosen from your gallery). It is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which passes it to Anthropic, the company that runs the Claude AI model, so the model can look at the outfit. We do not save your photo. It is used only to produce your result and is not written to our database.
- The scene and roast level you choose. If you use the Custom scene, the short text you type is sent too, and we keep a copy of that text (see below).
- An anonymous install ID. The app makes a random ID the first time it runs. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number or advertising ID. We use it to count your daily checks and to run the invite-a-friend bonus.
- Your platform (Android or iPhone).
What our server keeps
- Your anonymous install ID, platform, plan, and the dates it was first and last seen.
- How many checks that install used each day and month.
- A short record of each check: the time, roast level, the scene name or Custom scene text, how many AI tokens were used, the score, and whether it worked. It never contains your photo or the roast text.
- Invite-a-friend records: your invite code, who invited the install, and whether the bonus was paid.
We keep these records for as long as the service runs, to limit abuse, enforce free-plan limits and track costs.
What stays on your phone
Your settings (such as theme, default roast level and shopping ideas) are saved on your phone.
Who else handles data
- Anthropic processes what the app sends so the AI can reply. Anthropic handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy (anthropic.com/legal/privacy).
- Cloudflare hosts our server and database.
- Google Play or the Apple App Store handle downloads and, if paid plans are offered, payments. We do not see your payment details.
We may disclose information if the law requires it. We do not share it for advertising.
Photos of other people
Please only upload photos of yourself, or of someone who agreed. Fit Check judges clothes, never bodies, and is not meant for photos of children.
Permissions the app asks for
Camera (only when you tap to take a photo) and internet access. If you choose a photo from your gallery, your phone shows its own picker and gives the app only the photo you select.
Age
Fit Check is for people 13 and older. The Spicy and Savage roast levels ask you to confirm you are an adult (18 or older) first. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
- Uninstalling the app removes your anonymous ID and everything saved on your phone.
- You can ask us to delete or show you what we hold. Because we do not know who you are, we may need something from you to find your record; if we cannot find it, the leftover record contains no personal details.

Security
Data travels over encrypted connections, and our AI key and server secrets are kept out of the app. No system is perfectly secure, so we collect as little as we can.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If a change is significant, we will say so in the app.
