ChangeSlip Privacy Policy
ChangeSlip is an offline notebook for extra-work (change order) tickets: describe the extra work, price labor, material and equipment with markup and tax, add photos, collect finger signatures and share a PDF ticket. This page explains what information the app uses and what choices you have. It is short because we collect nothing.
The short version
- No account, no sign-in, no name or email needed.
- No ads, and no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools inside the app.
- Everything you enter stays on your phone. The app has no server of ours behind it, and nothing you type is sent to us.
- We do not collect, receive, sell or share your information.
What the app stores on your phone
The jobs you add with client details and your usual markup and tax, the extra-work tickets with their labor, material and equipment lines, your rate sheet, company name and contact line, and the photos and signature pictures on tickets. It is saved in the private storage of the app on your phone. Android backup is switched off for this app. Uninstalling the app removes its data.
Photos, signatures and files
Photos you take or pick, and the finger signatures people draw on the screen, are saved as pictures in the private storage of the app. They stay on your phone. When you make a PDF, the app draws the photos and signatures into the file and opens your phone share sheet. You choose where it goes. We never receive it. Please do not photograph people who have not agreed, or confidential material you are not allowed to keep.
What leaves your phone
Only what you choose to send. When you tap Share or Export, the app hands a PDF, text or spreadsheet file to the share sheet of your phone, and you pick the app or place it goes to. We never receive it.
If you tap Send feedback or Contact support, the app opens your email app with a draft addressed to us. The draft is filled in with the app version, your phone model and the Android version to help us fix problems. Nothing is sent unless you press send in your email app. If you do, we receive your email address and what you wrote, and we use it only to answer you.
If you tap Privacy policy or Terms of use, your web browser opens this website. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may keep ordinary server logs of visits.
Internet access, Plus and Google Play
The app asks Android for network access only because it includes Google Play components: Google Play Billing, which handles the optional paid Plus subscription and the Restore purchases button, and the Google Play update check, which tells you when a newer version is available. The app asks Google Play whether your Plus subscription is active. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details. Google's own privacy policy applies to what Google Play collects. The code we wrote does not send your entries, photos or signatures anywhere.
Permissions the app asks for
Camera, only when you tap to take a photo for a ticket. Photos you choose from your library are picked with the Android system picker, which gives the app only the photos you select. Voice dictation: when you tap the microphone, the standard Android speech dialog opens. What you say is handled by the speech service on your phone (usually Google), under its own privacy policy, and the app only receives the text. The app does not hold the microphone permission itself. The app does not ask for any storage permission.
Age
ChangeSlip is for working adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not collect information from anyone.
Your choices
- Delete items inside the app, or uninstall the app, to remove your data from your phone. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
- Anything you have already shared (for example by email or to a cloud drive) is held by the place you sent it. Delete it there.
- Cancel Plus at any time in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions.

Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If the app ever starts to collect or send information, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
