What the app does
Every Faith Prayer Reminder is a reminder tool only. This is an independent app. It is not an official app of any religious group or institution and gives no religious rulings.
Times may be wrong
Reminder times are calculated from your phone's clock, your location and published guidance. They can be off, for example if your phone's time or location is wrong, if your phone limits background alarms, or if a notification is turned off. Do not rely on the app as your only way to keep an obligation. Check the timing with your own community when it matters. Please follow the guidance of your own community or teachers.
Paid plans (subscription and lifetime unlock)
- What you get. A paid plan unlocks every faith's prayer times, reminders and settings, and up to three custom prayer windows. Reminders and settings unlock when you start a trial or choose a plan.
- Price and billing period. The subscription is offered monthly or yearly, and a one-time lifetime unlock is also offered. The exact price, billing period and any taxes are shown by Google Play (and in the app) before you confirm, and may differ by country and currency. The price you see is the price you pay.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period (every month or every year), at the price shown, until you cancel. Payment is charged to your Google Play account.
- Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a free trial. The yearly plan is set up to offer a 14 day free trial; the trial length that Google Play shows you before you subscribe is the one that applies. A trial is available once per eligible user, as decided by Google Play. If you cancel before a trial ends you are not charged. When a trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid subscription and renews automatically at the price shown unless you cancel first.
- How to cancel. You can cancel at any time: open the Google Play app, tap your profile icon, choose Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, pick the app and tap Cancel subscription. After you cancel, you keep what you paid for until the end of the period you have already paid for. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription; you must cancel it in Google Play.
- Refunds. Payment is taken by Google Play, not by us, so refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy. Google's general policy is that cancelling does not refund the current billing period, though in some countries the law may give you other rights, and those rights are not affected. We cannot issue refunds ourselves; if you need help, email us and we will point you to the right place.
- Lifetime unlock. The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase with no renewal. It is tied to your Google account and can be restored on a phone signed in to the same account.
- If your subscription ends. The paid features, including reminders and settings, stop working until you subscribe again or restore a purchase; your saved choices stay on your phone unless you remove them. If a purchase does not show after you reinstall or change phones, use Restore purchases where the app offers it, or reopen the app while signed in to the same Google account: the app asks Google Play what you own.
Your data on the phone
Everything you enter is stored only on your phone. If you uninstall the app, clear its data or lose the phone, the data is gone and we cannot restore it. Export or share what you want to keep, and keep your own backups of anything important. Purchases are the exception: Google Play remembers them for your Google account.
Licence
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on your own devices, for your own use, under these terms and Google Play's terms.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: no attempts to break it or get around its limits or purchases, no automated or bulk use, and no reverse engineering where the law allows us to forbid it.
Ownership
The app, its name, logo and design belong to Acid Secs Productions Inc. You keep ownership of everything you enter.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We try to make it work well, but we do not promise it will always work, be accurate or be free of errors.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Acid Secs Productions Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, lost data, or losses from relying on the app or its results. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim (which may be nothing). Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be limited, including consumer rights where you live, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Ending use
You can stop at any time by uninstalling. We may update, limit or stop offering the app, or block use that breaks these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above. Using the app after an update means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without affecting any consumer rights you have in your own place of residence. Disputes are for the courts of Ontario, except where your local consumer law gives you the right to go elsewhere.
